Description:
Thalli are light to dark brown, unbranched or very sparingly branched (at an acute angle) to a single order, to 30 cm (12 in) or taller. Habitat:Habitat: Found on rock in the low intertidal or upper subtidal. Similar taxa: This species is less branched than Chordaria flagelliformis.
